I've heard artists speak of following their muse. (definition: muse - the source of inspiration for a creative artist.) Today, I know the feeling. I have to paint what I have to paint. And for now, that means these abstracted landscapes. Having this feeling aMUSES me. Today's painting is titled "Foreseeable Future."

Love it. Love the title too. I am fasinated by your abstracts as I have always wanted to try myself but don't really know how to get there. I enjoy watching your journey.
Thanks Carol. I know how you feel about not knowing how to get there. Try taking an old painting that you can sacrifice, turn it upside down and start painting over it with similar colors. From there, you'll get ideas for additional colors. Existing shapes will suggest relationships. Good luck!

Lovely painting. And I was glad to be reminded that sometimes we just need to paint what we need to paint. I'm writing this on my to do list!
