Busy with some of my earthly ties today, I almost forgot to post this. The oven timer is going off for an apple crisp made from zucchini not apples. Yum. Acrylic on wood panel, 20 x 20 inches.
hmmmm your zucchini crisp sounds outstanding also (zuccs being my favourite vegetable)....I will try it...email me if there is something different in this recipe please..lol...otherwise I will do like an apple crips.... Have a great day
There is an unusual step in this zucchini crisp recipe that makes it the best I've tried. Zucchini is peeled, seeds removed and cut into "apple" slices. Put in a container and pour boiling water over to cover slices. Leave 3 minutes. Drain and cool and then proceed with your recipe. This step keeps the "apples" crunchy.
